The Milwaukee Bucks had a chance to seize control of their first round NBA playoff series with Toronto on Saturday but it was the Raptors who shut down the Bucks 87-76 to even the series at two games each.
DeMar DeRozan, Toronto’s all-star guard held without a field goal in Milwaukee’s rout in game three, responded with 33 points to lead the Raptors.
The Bucks shot poorly (37%) in a game slowed to a crawl because of a physical, half-court tempo. Tony Snell led Milwaukee with 19, Giannis Antetokounmpo was held to 14 points on six of 19 shooting.
Milwaukee returns to the Air Canada Centre for the pivotal game five Monday night. Tip-off is at 6:00 PM on WNFL.
