MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) Brandon Finnegan tossed five innings of scoreless, three-hit ball as the Reds topped the Brewers, 4-2, at Miller Park. Wily Peralta took the loss after allowing three runs, two earned, over six innings. Ryan Braun and Hernan Perez each collected a pair of hits for the Brewers, who dropped two of three in the series. It was the Brewers final home game of the season.
The Brewers begin the final week of the season tonight in Texas against the Rangers. The teams will play three games Monday through Wednesday before the Crew heads to Colorado for the final series of the year.
Matt Garza will start tonight at 7:05pm CT opposite Rangers left-hander Martin Perez.
