MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – A teenage boy will make his first adult court appearance Monday for allegedly stabbing his mom.
16-year-old Jackson Vogel of Two Rivers is facing 3 felonies, including attempted first-degree homicide by use of dangerous weapon, strangulation and suffocation, and false imprisonment.
Two Rivers police were called to a north side home in late September around 4 p.m. Jackson’s 61-year-old mother was found with multiple stab wounds, and told officers that as she was getting ready for work her son began to stab her.
In the state of Wisconsin, juveniles ages 10 to 16 are automatically charged in adult court for homicide or attempted homicide counts.
