MOSINEE, WI (WSAU) — D&J Driving School of Mosinee no longer has insurance and has had their instructor’s license revoked, but they may not have been trying to keep it.
The Division of Motor Vehicles distributed a notice of the ineligibility of the school on Monday, but the owner of D&J tells Newsline 9 she retired from teaching in August, and has sold the company’s car.
Debbie Kraemer, Supervisor at the Division of Motor Vehicles, says that students in this situation need to wait to receive documents from them to move to a different school.
She said, “If the students and parents can wait until they get the letter from us, that will give them all the information they need. We get those out as quickly as we can to them, but we have to wait until we get those student record cards. And they have to have something from us to go to that other school unless they want to start completely over.”
She says they’re working with D&J to get student driving records. Once the records are received they can usually get the information to the students within 3 to 4 days.
