(WNFL) – The Green Bay Phoenix women’s basketball team outscored the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers 22-8 in the second quarter and rolled to a 69-46 win in a Horizon League game at the Kress Events Center in Green Bay on Saturday.
Tesha Buck led the Phoenix who shot 38.9% for the game with 23 points. Allie LeClaire and Mehryn Kraker added 12 and 11 points, respectively. Jessica Lindstrom pulled down 10 rebounds for the Phoenix.
The Panthers were led by Jenny Lindner who scored 15 points.
The Phoenix are now 19-3 overall and 9-1 in the Horizon League.
UW-Milwaukee is 12-9 overall and 6-4 in the Horizon League.
