OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A letter from the owners of Oshkosh’s City Center parking ramp indicates they expect to re-open most of the third level “soon”.
That’s after snow-removal equipment damaged the driving surface while removing snow from this week’s major winter storm.
The update came from City Center Associates in a letter to building tenants on Friday.
Employees who work in the building said the third level was closed when arriving for work on Wednesday morning.
City Center Associates says a structural engineer it hired, along with inspectors from the city of Oshkosh’s Inspection Services Division and Fire Department, all said there was no apparent structural damage to the building.
The owners say that they’re working to provide additional parking near the building while repairs to the third level are taking place.
“The safety of our tenants is of the utmost importance,” the company said in the letter.
