WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — 19-year-old Gage Laub of Wausau will be behind bars for 60 days. Laub pleaded no contest to burglary and armed robbery with a threat of force.
Laub and seven others are were arrested following the February 2015 break-in of a Mosinee home. The man who lives in the home told police that the young men entered the home with scarves covering their faces, had guns, and demanded money.
Along with the 60 days in jail, Laub is sentenced to seven years probation. A judge told Laub if he violates that parole at anytime he will be sentenced to four years in prison. Terms of his probation also include absolute sobriety, no contact with the seven others arrested and enrollment in college.
