OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A man will spend over a dozen years in prison for sexually assaulting a child.
In court Wednesday, 53-year-old Derek Rose of Menasha was sentenced to 14 years in prison and another 12 years on extended supervision.
Rose pled no contest to several charges, including sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography, back in February.
Prosecutors say Rose assaulted a girl who lived near him when she was 7 or 8-years-old. He was arrested last November after authorities say he shared photos he took of the girl on a Russian website.
