(WNFL) – St. Norbert College’s Ryan Grandlic has been named the Midwest Conference (MWC) Performer of the Week for Men’s Track, while Cornell College’s Charles Zilaitis has been named the Performer of the Week for the field events for the second straight week.Grandlic set a new personal record in the 400-meter dash and finished in third at the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse Phil Esten Challenge. Grandlic ran a 48.43 which moves him into 22nd nationally. Zilaitis won the shot put with the nation’s 12th-best mark (53’3”) at the University of Dubuque Invitational. The Ram junior also broke the program’s hammer throw record for the second week in a row, taking second with an MWC-best distance of 168’1”. Zilaitis finished fourth in the discus (141’9”).
