(WNFL) – The top-ranked Wisconsin women’s hockey team will try to stay undefeated when it hosts Dartmouth in a non-conference series tonightand tomorrow afternoon. Coach Mark Johnson’s Badgers are off to their best start in team history at 14-and-oh. Ten of those victories were shutouts, giving Wisconsin the nation’s best scoring defense at 36-hundredths of one goal per game. Badgers’ sophomore Annie Pankowski ranks seventh in the country in scoring, with one-point-eight-six points per contest. Dartmouth comes in a four-two-and-two. The Wisconsin men’s hockey team is off this weekend. In pro hockey, the Milwaukee Admirals take a ten-game winning streak into a pair of home contests against Grand Rapids tonight (Friday) and Rockford tomorrow (Saturday) night.
