(WNFL) – It’s holiday tournament time for all four Wisconsin women’s basketball teams in Division-One. The Badgers open against Delaware tonight in the San Diego State Classic in southern California. Coach Bobbie Kelsey’s team is scheduled to play the host school on Sunday. Wisconsin is one-and-two after falling at Dayton by 23 points last Sunday. UW Milwaukee had a noon tip-off set for today, as they open the Miami Thanksgiving Classic against the host Hurricanes. Miami is off to a five-and-oh start, while U-W-M is one-and-one. The Marquette women are also in Miami, but for a different tournament — the Florida International Turkey Slam. The Golden Eagles open against the host school late this morning. UW Green Bay was facing Tulane at mid-day at the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands. The Phoenix lost to Virginia in their tournament opener on Thanksgiving. In Division-Two, the U-W Parkside women play the host Alaska-Fairbanks in Round-two of their tournament today.
