BLOOMER, WI (WTAQ) – A Chippewa County roofing contractor has been cited for the fourth time in three years by OSHA.
Affordable Exteriors of Bloomer could face more than $112,000 in fines after the federal agency says it ignored laws and put workers at risk by allowing them to work without fall protection equipment.
The agency says employees of Affordable Exteriors were observed working at heights up to 25 feet without proper fall equipment.
On November 20th, OSHA issued the company 2 willful, one repeated, and 3 serious safety citations.
The company has 15 days to comply, request an informal conference, or contest the findings.
