GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – An opportunity to show support for the victims of the Paris terrorist attack, and all the people of France, is coming this week.
For many years France Savant, a Green Bay business specializing in French related activities, has had a float in the annual holiday parade downtown.
This year, they want the community to march with them.
Giving the public the chance to show they’re united with France and follow the float.
Green Bay is the adopted home of Stephanie Lemerond…but she has many family members who live in Paris.
She’s doing this to let family and friends in France how much the Green Bay community cares.
People who would like to march with the Eiffel Tower float can meet up on Stuart Street at 9:15 Saturday morning.
Parade organizers are aware the larger than normal float following and welcome the crowd.
Bring french flags, signs and wear your beret.
