GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A former Green Bay Correctional Institution worker has pled no contest to having sex with an inmate and trying to deliver drugs to another prisoner.
Online court records indicate that 52-year-old Gayle Saldaris pled no contest to misconduct in office, fourth-degree sexual assault and drug delivery on Tuesday. Another sexual assault count was dismissed.
Saldaris will be sentenced February 9.
According to the criminal complaint, an inmate said he had sexual contact with Saldaris 10 times a week, for about a month. Saldaris was employed as a food service worker at the prison for 3 months last year.
The convicted bank robber says he worked with Saldaris in the food line, and would get physical with her in the freezer and vegetable cooler.
Saldaris also tried to get drugs to another inmate 4 months after being fired. She attempted to have a different food worker at the prison bring Ethylone to the inmate, as well.
