GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has removed an American flag placed on the Leo Frigo Bridge.
DOT spokesman Kim Rudat says the flag could’ve been a distraction to drivers or cause traffic problems if it fell off.
Rudat says it’s unclear who, when or how the flag was put up — but it happened sometime overnight.
The Green Bay Police Department didn’t receive any reports of suspicious activity during that time.
