GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Wisconsin Department of Corrections has turned over its report on the officer involved shooting earlier this year in Green Bay to the Brown County prosecutor.
Two Green Bay police officers were called to do a welfare check on a man living at an apartment on Plymouth Lane back on February 25. 30-year-old Joseph Biegert allegedly stabbed one of the cops, and police shot and killed Biegert.
Brown County District Attorney David Lasee says he’s reviewing the report and expects to make a decision on possibly filing charges by next week.
