WAUPACA, Wis. (WSAU) — Waupaca County detectives have released details about a Thursday drug raid and arrests in the Town of Lind, south of Waupaca.
Sergeant Kevin Studzinski says charges were filed Friday against 27-year-old Racheal Lee Clumpner and 32-year-old Cyril Andrew Franz. Both are charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Franz faces three additional charges of delivering heroin and one penalty enhancer for having drugs too close to a prohibited area, such as a school.
Both are in the Waupaca County jail. Clumpner is held on a $25,000 dollar cash bond, and Franz is held on a $150,000 dollar cash bond.
The Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force officers executed a search warrant at the residence on Shadow Road, where they found about 115 doses of heroin with a street value of approximately $5,175 dollars. Clumpner and Franz were arrested then. Sergeant Studzinski anticipates more arrests will be made in this case.
It was just two months ago that Waupaca County was able to add two additional full-time drug crime investigators to the Sheriff’s Department. These additional officers and the task force participants from eight county police departments are working to cut down on the availability of drugs, and the numerous other crimes committed by people addicted to them.
