Khris Middleton’s three point shot at the buzzer lifted the Milwaukee Bucks over the Miami Heat 89-88 in a BMOHarris Bradley Center thriller Tuesday night. The hoop capped a rally that saw the Bucks score 14 straight points to tie the game at 85. Down two in the closing seconds, Jared Bayliss tied up Michael Beasley but the 6-1 guard won the jump ball against the 6-8 forward. When a game tying shot was missed, Zasa Pachulia tapped the rebound out to Middleton who drained the game winning hoop. Milwaukee outscored Miami 24-9 in the 4th quarter. Ersan Ilyasova led Milwaukee with 19 points and 11 rebounds while Dwayne Wade topped Miami with 21. The win snaps a six game losing streak for the Bucks and gives them a little breathing room in the battle for the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs with 11 games to play. Milwaukee is now 35-35 while the Heat, in 7th, are 32-38. The Bucks homestand continues Thursday night against Indiana.
