RIVER FALLS, WI (WTAQ) – A 23-year-old River Falls man is scheduled to enter pleas April 1st to allegations that he punched his girlfriend over 100 times, bit her in the face, and tried strangling her.
Benjamin Force waived a preliminary hearing in St. Croix County Circuit Court Thursay. He was ordered to stand trial on a half-dozen felony charges of attempted homicide, false imprisonment, mayhem, reckless injury, strangulation and suffocation, and aggravated battery.
Police said they were called to the ValuStay Motel in River Falls last week, where they found 19-year-old Hannah Dyke bruised with considerable blood.
A witness reportedly told police that Force dragged Dyke back into a motel room after she tried running way. Officers said they found Force in a bathroom, as he tried washing blood from both of them.
Force is being held under a $100,000 bond.
