The Marquette Golden Eagles were run off the Madison Square Garden floor Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament. Third ranked Villanova ripped Marquette 84-49 behind 20 points off the bench from Josh Hart. Derrick Wilson led the Golden Eagles with 11, Luke Fisher added 10 as Marquette finished the first season under head coach Steve Wojiechowski at 13-19, the most losses in a season since 1963.
