OCONTO, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities say an Oconto Falls woman has been charged in connection with the drug overdose death of a man last summer.
23-year-old Tiffany A. Gerrits was arrested Wednesday.
Oconto County sheriff’s officials say Gerrits is suspected in the death of 21-year-old Donald J. Hudson of Abrams. Hudson died at his home last August 29 from a heroin overdose, according to an autopsy.
Gerrits appeared in court Thursday where a judge set bond at $250,000. She’s charged with first-degree reckless homicide by delivering drugs, manufacturing or delivering heroin and possession of heroin with the intent to deliver.
Gerrits is due back in court next Thursday.
