GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – If you like today’s sunny and warmer weather, enjoy it while you can.
A low pressure system is supposed to bring more snow into Wisconsin overnight. We could then go back into the deep freeze early Wednesday morning.
For now, though, it’s a great Monday. Sunny skies were reported throughout the Badger State, with light winds except along parts of Lakes Michigan and Superior.
Temperatures ranged from 17 at Marshfield to 29 in Manitowoc at 11 a.m.
The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories from late tonight through tomorrow afternoon for most of Wisconsin. 2 to 5 inches of snow are possible in most areas, with drifting snow possible in some places due to high winds.
Far southern Wisconsin could get a mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain tomorrow.
Wind chill factors in much of the state could get back down to 25-below early Wednesday morning — including the Madison and Milwaukee regions.
Mild and generally quiet weather is forecast for next weekend.
