VACAVILLE, CA (WTAQ) – Green Bay Packers’ corner Jarrett Bush was released from jail with no charges facing him.
That’s after he was arrested early Sunday morning for alleged public intoxication outside a restaurant in his home town of Vacaville California.
According to an arrest report, Bush was in a large group as a fight took place in front of Evelyn’s Big Italian Restaurant in downtown Vacaville — which is about 60 miles northwest of San Francisco.
When officers arrived, they asked the group to leave the area. Most did, but Bush didn’t. Police said he kept creating a disturbance, and was arrested.
Later, he was cooperative after being put on a detention hold — and was then released with no charges to be sought.
Bush was the second Packer arrested in the last month. Nose tackle Letroy Guion was arrested a month ago Tuesday in his hometown of Starke Florida. He was caught smoking marijuana in a vehicle which police said contained marijuana, a gun, and about $200,000.
Both Guion and Bush will be free agents on March 10th. Coach Mike McCarthy has said he wants Guion back despite his arrest. Bush was elected a special teams’ captain by his teammates for the playoffs in January.
