SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WSAU) — A small private airplane lost power and crashed in Sheboygan County Sunday morning. The pilot is a man from Cleveland, Wisconsin and had contacted the Federal Aviation Administration to let them know he made an emergency landing in a field in the Town of Wilson just after 11:30 a.m.
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department officers and emergency responders went to the scene. The man was uninjured, and the airplane is still intact, and not leaking fluids. Investigators are now checking into the cause of the engine failure in the Mooney aircraft.
