Bucks left off All-Star roster for 11th straight year

(WNFL)- The Bucks were left off the NBA’s All-Star rosters last night for the 11th straight year but there’s still a chance that point guard Brandon Knight could be an injury replacement. Starters were announced earlier, and 14 reserves for the East and West squads were unveiled in a cable broadcast. The coaches select those players. Media reports say Knight and Atlanta’s Kyle Korver have the best chances of replacing Miami’s Dwayne Wade who injured a hamstring on Tuesday night when the Heat lost to the Bucks. The former Marquette guard was picked for his 11th All-Star appearance but Wade said yesterday his hamstring injury is serious, and he’ll miss at least 2-3 weeks of action. The NBA All-Star Game will be played two weeks from Sunday night at Madison Square Garden in New York. Knight averages 18 points, five assists, and four rebounds per game.
