BARRON COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities in northwest Wisconsin have been looking for a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian.
Barron County sheriff’s deputies said 26-year-old Logan Paulson was struck about 7:30 a.m. Thursday near Upper Turtle Lake on Highway 8. That’s between Almena and Turtle Lake. He lived in the area.
Officials said he was walking on the roadway when a vehicle struck him and drove off sometime during the night.
The only description officers have of the vehicle is that it’s white. They don’t know the make or model.
The State Patrol was reconstructing the crash scene Thursday. Anyone with information was asked to call the Barron County sheriff’s office in Barron.
