SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ) – A financial services company from Dubuque Iowa has completed its acquisition of a Sheboygan bank.
Heartland Financial said Tuesday it finalized its purchase of Community BankCorp of Sheboygan for almost $53 million in an all-stock transaction.
Heartland owns Wisconsin Bank and Trust, which had 9 branches before acquiring ten more in the new deal for a total of 19. Those ten locations are mostly in Sheboygan County.
The acquisition was first announced in late October.
Community Bank has around $525 million in assets. Heartland Financial provides an array of services that include banking, mortgages, insurance, investments, wealth management, and more.
Besides Wisconsin, Heartland has banking locations in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and five other states as far west as Arizona.
