JUNEAU COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Prosecutors say a central Wisconsin woman killed a man because he told her to.
24-year-old Natalie Murphy of Necedah is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the shooting death last week of 24-year-old Andrew Dammen.
Juneau County sheriff’s deputies said they responded to an apartment in Necedah early last Thursday — and a lieutenant apparently overheard Murphy saying that Dammen told her to shoot him.
The victim was taken to a Mauston hospital where he died.
A bond hearing was held Friday, where a judge set bond at a quarter-million dollars. The next time she’s in court, Murphy will have a formal initial appearance in which the details of her homicide charge will be explained to her.
