(WNFL)- A log-jam at the top of the Horizon League men’s basketball standings will be broken tonight, when Green Bay plays at Valparaiso. Both lead the conference at 9-2, along with Cleveland State. The Phoenix have the second-best overall record of the bunch, at 20-5. Valpo has the best mark at 22-4. Green Bay is coming off a one point victory at Youngstown State on Wednesday night, in which they came back from ten points down midway through the second half and finished the game on 15-4 run. Senior Alfonzo McKinnie had his second straight double-double in that contest, with 14 points and 10 rebounds. McKinnie scored eleven the first time Green Bay played Valparaiso. The Phoenix held the Crusaders to 18.5 percent from the floor in the second half, as Greg Mays scored the eventual game-winner over the Crusaders with 1:41 left.
