Marzlof was a senior at Missouri University of Science-and-Technology in Rolla, with a major in mining engineering.
Werner is from Fenton, Missouri. She’s charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. She’s jailed on a $1-million bond. Missouri S-and-T has offered counseling services for those on campus affected by Marzolf’s death.
