NEILLSVILLE, WI (WTAQ) – Veterans from every conflict since World War II will ride their motorcycles to a gathering in central Wisconsin.
The 15th annual “Ride to Remember” takes place this weekend at the Highground Veterans Memorial near Neillsville. It’s the memorial’s second-largest fundraiser of the year, and organizer Kirk Rodman calls it one of the most moving.
Up to 200 bikers will gather Friday evening at the Silverdome Ballroom west of Neillsville. On Saturday, they’ll take 3 routes into the city, for a large parade through the downtown. Then it’s off to the Highground for festivities.
The public is invited to participate.
