(WNFL)- The Wisconsin men’s basketball team may or may not lose junior Sam Dekker to the NBA this summer. But it appears that sophomore Nigel Hayes will stay at the UW for more seasoning. After last night’s National Championship loss to Duke, Dekker said he won’t worry about his pro potential for now. He plans to cool down with his teammates, and talk with enough people to make an educated decision on whether to turn pro forego his senior year in Madison. Dekker raised his stock during the NCAA Tournament, averaging just over 19 points in his six games. He was a scoring machine at Sheboygan Lutheran High School before joining the Badgers three seasons ago. Hayes also flourished in coach Bo Ryan’s system during his second year in Madison. After failing to make a three-pointer as a freshman, he hiT 40-101 shots from beyond the arc this past season. However, Hayes indicates it’s not enough to make the pros yet. In his words, “I’m nowhere near good enough to do anything else besides come back.”
