NEW YORK (WTAQ) – The mayor of New York City is looking to expand his national profile with a series of visits this month to Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska.
It was announced earlier that Bill de Blasio will deliver the keynote address at the State Democratic Party’s Founders Day Gala in Milwaukee on April 25th.
Now, we’re learning that De Blasio will speak at Drake University in Iowa, and at a university lecture series in Nebraska.
De Blasio is a Democrat who has close political ties to Hillary Clinton, the party’s front runner for its presidential nomination next year.
