The Wisconsin TimberRattlers dropped the final regular season game in the Midwest League to Beloit 11-5 on Monday but they had already secured a second half wild card spot. Clint Coulter homered twice for the Rattlers, giving him a franchise record tying 22 on the season. That matches the number Khris Davis hit for Wisconsin in 2010. Wisconsin finished 72-67 on the year, 36-34 in the second half and will face the Kane County Cougars in the first round of the playoffs. Kane County was the top team in the Western Division in both the first and second halves. It's a best two out of three series but game one will be Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Wednesday night at 6:35 PM.
