President Obama to speak in Milwaukee on this Labor Day

MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - President Barack Obama is scheduled to arrive in Milwaukee today to speak at Labor-Fest.

It's the third time in 8 years that Obama has appeared at the Summerfest grounds for the annual event.

Democratic candidate for Governor Mary Burke will not appear with the President; however Republican Governor Scott Walker will greet the President at Mitchell International Airport.

According to officials with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, President Obama will return to the Badger State prior to Election Day to campaign for Burke in her quest to defeat Governor Walker.

President Obama is due to speak at 1:55 p.m. and only ticketed guests will be allowed to attend.
