UNDATED (WSAU) -- Two of Wisconsin’s top sausage makers have new owners.

Marshfield based Wenzel’s Farm Sausage was sold Monday. Harry C. Wenzel and Sons sold the 65-year-old businesses to Castleray LLC. The operations will remain in Marshfield, and operate with the existing employees and management. The terms of the sale were not announced.

The other big deal announced Monday was the sale of Milwaukee-based Klement Sausage to Tall Tree Foods. Tall Tree Foods is owned by Altamont Capital Partners.

C-E-O Ray Booth will continue as the top executive under the new ownership. Former Chairman John Klements says the new owners plan to grow the brand. The Klements Sausage races at Miller Park during Brewers games will continue under the new ownership. The offices, plants, and management team will remain in Milwaukee.
