LA CROSSE, WI (WTAQ) - Governor Scott Walker toured storm damage in La Crosse Monday.

More than 7,000 Xcel Energy customers lost their electricity on Saturday night, after strong winds caused trees to fall onto power lines. All service was restored by Monday morning.

Meanwhile, damage assessments continued in Iowa County, where a tornado touched down from Highland to northeast of Dodgeville late Sunday night. Building roofs and numerous trees were damaged.

The nearby Talesin estate of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright was not damaged in the storms.

In Grant County, officials said at least 4 farm buildings were destroyed near Fennimore, where multiple homes had severe damage. Pardeeville in Columbia County had 1.75 inches of rain in just 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 7 p.m. Monday for Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Green, Rock, and Dane counties.

Heavy weekend rains produced new flood warnings on the Rock River at Afton near Janesville, the Sugar River at Brodhead, and the Fox River at New Munster in Kenosha County.

Ongoing flood warnings continue this week on the St. Croix and Mississippi rivers along Wisconsin's western border.
