UW Green Bay's Alec Brown got the call he's been dreaming about since he was a child. The Horizon League's defensive player of the year and the all-time shot blocker in Phoenix history is now headed to Phoenix, as in Arizona. Brown was chosen in the second round of the NBA draft Thursday night, the 50th overall pick of the Phoenix Suns. The 7-1 center had one of the most decorated careers in Green Bay history and becomes just the 5th Phoenix player to be drafted by the NBA, joining Tom Anderson, Ron Ripley, Tony Bennett and Jeff Nordgaard. The Suns were one of 11 teams that worked out Brown leading up to the draft.
