ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - After two years overseas, a special train is back at the National Railroad Museum.
On Friday, the Dwight D. Eisenhower locomotive arrived back in Ashwaubenon. The National Railroad Museum loaned the train to England as part of an anniversary celebration for the railway.
The York, England-based National Railroad Museum performed some restoration work to the Eisenhower as part of the agreement.
Now that it's back in town, more work will be done to prepare it for display here. Executive Director Jacqueline Frank says it will be ready for public display on August 2.
