Twins get even

Minnesota Twins
Minnesota Twins

The head scratching season for Yovani Gallardo continued Tuesday night as the Minnesota Twins clubbed a pair of home runs against the Brewers' ace in a 6-4 victory at Miller Park.   Josh Willingham cracked a three run shot in the third and Brian Dozier hit a two run blast in the 5th.  Gallardo gave up six runs in five innings in losing his 4th decision out of his last five.  His record now stands at 3-4.  Ryan Braun drove in a pair for the Crew, Martin Maldanado and Lyle Overbay also plated a run.  Milwaukee had several threats against Samuel Deduno but grounded into three double plays.  The Brewers tried to rally in the 9th after the first two batters reached with a wallk.  Braun brought home one run with a sacrifice fly but Carlos Gomez struck out to end the game.   The loss was painful but not costly for Milwaukee (35-24) as the Cardinals lost to Kansas City 8-7, keeping the Brewers five games out front in the NL Central.  There's a change of venue in the series tonight as the teams meet at Target Field.  Marco Estrada faces Ricky Nolasco.  Pre-game coverage begins at 6:35 PM on WTAQ.

A fan was injured after falling from the stands into the Brewers bullpen during the 8th inning.  The game was delayed several minutes as a stretcher was used to remove the fan from Miller Park.  He was conscious and alert before heading off to the hospital.
