Jacob deGrom and three relievers held the Milwaukee Brewers to six singles and Lucas Duda smacked a two run homer against Jimmy Nelson leading the Mets past the Crew 2-0 in the series and homestand finale Sunday at Miller Park. deGrom worked six and a third innings allowing four hits and Duda's blast came in the 6th. Nelson pitched seven innings and struck out six but Milwaukee had only a couple of realistic scoring chances. The Brewers still finished the homestand with a 5-2 record and sit at 59-47 on the year, good for a two game lead on St. Louis in the National League Central division. The Brewers open a six game road trip in Tampa Bay against the Rays before facing the Cardinals next weekend in St. Louis. Kyle Lohse will be on the mound against the Rays in the series opener Monday night. Pre-game coverage begins at 5:35 PM on WTAQ.
