ST. CROIX COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - Two drivers were killed, and another was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Wisconsin.
According to St. Croix County authorities, 34-year-old Amanda Day of Osceola was trying to pass a vehicle when she struck it. The second unit spun into a ditch, and Day's vehicle then collided with an oncoming car driven by 83-year-old Goldie Culver of Apple Valley Minnesota.
Day died at the crash scene, and Culver died a short time later at a hospital in St. Paul Minnesota.
The injured man was driving the second unit. He was taken to a Stillwater hospital for treatment.
Officials said Day was the only motorist not wearing a seat belt.
