MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - A review by the Wisconsin Department of Justice of the investigation into a Green Bay police officer's conduct during a controversial arrest is complete.
Back in April, Officer Derek Wicklund was seen in a viral cell phone video taking a man down outside of a bar on Washington Street during an arrest.
The results of the Green Bay Police Department's investigation were not made public when they finished it in May. It was forwarded to the state DOJ.
Officials with the Green Bay P.D. tell FOX 11 that they've received the report back and are giving Wicklund a chance to review it before releasing it to the public.
No word yet on when the internal investigation report will be released.
