Pedestrian killed by possible drunk driver near Luck

LUCK, Wis. (WXCE) -- Polk County is investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that claimed a life.

Sunday at 2:12 a.m., the Polk County Sheriff's Department was notified of a crash which had just occurred on State Highway 35 about 2/10 of a mile north of 240th Avenue in Luck Township.

Deputies investigation of the scene found that 32-year-old Jeanne S. Fisher of Frederic was operating a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus Southbound on Highway 35 when she struck 34-year old Chad M. Hansen of Milltown, who was walking southbound in the traveled portion of the roadway.

Fisher was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
