Brewers impressively sweep Dodgers

The Milwaukee Brewers have the look of a playoff team after being the first club to sweep the Los Angeles Dodgers in a three game series all year, finishing off the trifecta with a 7-2 victory Sunday in L.A.   Wily Peralta picked up his league leading 15th win by pitching six scoreless innings, allowing five hits.  He had plenty of early run support.  Jonathan Lucroy belted a two run homer in the first off Dan Haren and then delivered a three run double in the second for a 5-0 lead.  Carlos Gomez hit his 20th homer of the year.   The Dodgers touched Marco Estrada for two runs in the 8th but Jeremy Jeffress finished it off in the ninth.    The Brewers have tied the Dodgers with 70 wins, most in the National League after rallying Friday night with a five run 8th, beating Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw 3-2 Saturday night and completing the sweep on Sunday.   Winners of four straight overall, the Brewers (70-55) maintain a three game lead over St. Louis in the division race with Pittsburgh now five and a half games back and Cincinnati now 8 off the pace.  Milwaukee enjoys a day off Monday before opening a short, two game series at Miller Park Tuesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays.
