MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) - Two Manitowoc County men arrested for making methamphetamines allegedly left some of their evidence in the St. Nazianz sewage system.
And officials said it could have been why the village had recent issues with its water testing.
The county's Metro Drug Unit arrested a 29-year-old Kiel man and a 33-year-old St. Nazianz man.
Officials said their recent purchases from area pharmacies of a main pharmaceutical ingredient in meth also helped give them away.
The county drug unit later broke up a pair of meth manufacturing operations.
