Flynn returns to Pack

Matt Flynn is coming back to the Packers.  The free agent quarterback flirted with the possibility of visiting the New York Giants but instead will return to provide back up insurance for Aaron Rodgers. Flynn spent the first couple of years in Green Bay before signing a big, free agent deal with Seattle but was beaten out by then rookie Russell Wilson.  Traded to the Raiders, Flynn couldn't win the starting job and was eventually released.  He was with the Buffalo Bills for a couple of weeks last season before getting cut and re-joined the Packers.   With Rodgers out with a broken collarbone, Flynn started four games for Green Bay, going 2-2, throwing for 1146 yards with 7 touchdowns and four interceptions. He helped stabilize the offense before Rodgers returned for the season finale in Chicago to lead the Pack into the playoffs.  Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.  Head Coach Mike McCarthy wanted Flynn back but said he'll still compete for the number two job with former Wisconsin Badger Scott Tolzien.
