The Green Bay Gamblers made the USHL Clark Cup playoffs for the sixth consecutive year by winning a pair of road games over the weekend. On Friday night, Green Bay defeated Eastern Conference leading Indiana 4-2, denying the Ice a shot at the Anderson Cup. That set up a win or go home game against Muskegon in Michigan on Saturday night. Matthew Weis tallied midway through the third period and the Gamblers knocked off the Lumberjacks 4-3 to finish one point ahead of Muskegon for the 4th and final playoff spot in the East. Green Bay (30-24-6) will open the playoffs against top seeded Indiana in a best of five conference semifinal series with games one and two in Indiana Friday and Saturday night. The Waterloo Blackhawks earned the Anderson Cup for having the best regular season record in the USHL.
