What goes up, must come down. The Milwaukee Brewers, coming off a 2-0 opening day victory over the Atlanta Braves, kept the visitors quiet for another four innings Tuesday night before the Atlanta bats woke up for a 5-2 victory at Miller Park. Carlos Gomez put the Crew up on the first pitch, taking Alex Wood deep to lead off the bottom of the first inning. Gomez would reach base four times adding a single and a pair of walks but Milwaukee couldn't come up with the big hit. Kyle Lohse took the loss, going seven innings, allowing three runs with eight strikeouts. Jason Heyward put Atlanta in front with a two run homer and Freddie Freeman did the rest of the damage, hitting a pair of solo shots. The first came against Loshe and after the Brewers closed the gap to 4-2, Freeman took Tyler Thornburg deep in the 9th. Aramis Ramirez and Jonathan Lucroy each had two hits for the Brewers. Both clubs are 1-1 and the season opening series wraps up Wednesday afternoon as Matt Garza makes his Milwaukee debut against Aaron Harrang.
