Kyle Lohse said he got the strike zone squeezed by home plate umpire Chad Fairchild because he had a "grumpy face" and the Chicago Cubs made Lohse even grumpier by beating him and the Milwaukee Brewers 5-1 Thursday afternoon at Miller Park to avoid a four game sweep. Lohse was tagged for two solo home runs among the seven hits allowed in five innings as he fell to 10-10 on the season. Jake Arietta allowed only three hits through seven innings for the win. Carlos Gomez spoiled the shutout with a solo home run in the 7th inning. Milwaukee begins it's final home series of the season, hosting the NL Central leading St. Louis Cardinals this weekend. Johnny Hellweg will face Shelby Miller in the opener Friday night. Pre-Game coverage begins at 6:35 PM on WTAQ.
